The Sexual Assault Centre provides prevention, counselling, and advocacy services to those who have been affected by sexual assault, as well as support for their families. They have a counsellor who provides free one-on-one counselling for free. There are different approaches for counselling, and they will work with you until they find one that is right for you. Referrals are typically made through agencies such as Victim Services, shelters, school counsellors, youth shelters, and Social Services. However, clients can also self-refer. A misconception is that their services cost money, when in reality, all of their services are absolutely free!
