Support for Youth Aging Out of Care

We are working to better support youth as they transition to adulthood. This means also supporting youth who are aging out of the care of the Ministry of Social Services. We have created this tool kit to help youth and their caregivers or support people prepare for and navigate this big transition. The resources below include handbooks that walk the youth through step-by-step everything they need to be independent, handbooks for caregivers or workers who work with youth approaching adulthood, a list of local resources for youth, and links to the apps from the developers of the handbooks for both android and iOS.
