Saskatchewan Advocate for Children and Youth works on behalf of individual and groups of children and youth in care and custody of the Government of Saskatchewan. They have the responsibility to receive, review, and investigate concerns regarding services provided to children and youth by the Saskatchewan Government. The majority of services provided are offered to children and youth up to the age of 18, but services are available to youth up to age 21 when receiving services pursuant to the Youth Criminal Justice Act or Section 56 of The Child and Family Services Act.

Their hours of operation are 8:30 am – 12 pm, then 1 pm – 5 pm, Monday to Friday.
