The PA Multicultural Council is a non-profit that has been in operation for over 40 years. They provide programs for newcomers to Prince Albert and Canada, as well as other services for the community. They offer English classes, host multicultural events and diversity events, and raise awareness for anti-racism. They have skill training for youth ages 16 and up. A common misconception is that the PAMC offers services only for newcomers to Canada. They’d like everyone to know that Prince Albert has had a multicultural community for a long time, and they want everyone to feel welcome to come enjoy their events. Multiculturalism is for everyone! They are proud to host events that are inclusive, and all their programs and events are completely free! Youth who are interested in volunteering can call their office, walk in for a visit, or message them on Facebook.
Their hours are 8:30 am – 4:30 pm Monday to Friday and can be reached at 306-922-0400.
